| The NUENDO AUDIOLINK 96 interface cards establish the connectivity
between desktop or laptop computers and the breakout boxes featuring the
analog and digital connectivity. Two cards are currently available. One
for the PCI slot on desktop computers and one for PCMCIA slots on mobile
computers. The connection between Nuendo Audiolink 96 Mobile/PCI and Nuendo
Audiolink 96 Digiset/Multiset is established using ordinary firewire cable
(Closed LAN to IEEE 1394).
For the Nuendo Audiolink 96 Mobile a world-exclusive PCMCIA type II card, in Zero wait state CardBus Busmaster technology, was developed. With up to 130 MB/s transfer rate in both directions the same basic performance is provided on a notebook as a PCI card would offer on a desktop computer. Features PCMCIA type II, 32 bit CardBus card TotalMix is an integrated software mixer that comes with any combination
of interface card and I/O box of the Nuendo Audiolink 96 series. TotalMix
allows for mixing and routing of all audio data oncoming from the Nuendo
software and all physical inputs as well as outputs of the Audiolink I/O
boxes. This can be used for real-time monitoring, mixing and submixing
as well as rerouting audio from external computers or other audio devices
such as mixers, synthesizers and outboard effect equipment. |
